Valerie goes out with Liz and leaves JJ one task — don't let Madame Fifi out of the house. Soon, the kitten is missing and JJ is locked out of the house wearing only a towel. Greg agrees to move in with the Benjamins but now believes he has to look after Claire. Claire quickly has enough and asks him to leave.©tzuk

A young man finds himself an unwitting getaway driver when his friend commits a robbery. The case, which yielded an unusually large amount of money, pits Eric against Sen. Sgt. Walton of the neighbouring Kenmore district who each tries to pass the "nuisance" case onto the other before Vic claims it for Riverside. Walton warns off Brett Summers, his daughter's boyfriend, after learning of his criminal past. Unbeknownst to Walton, the otherwise hard working young man is also the accomplice to the robbery. The young couple plan to run away and get married and leave the heist takings at the police station. Valerie finds herself back in show business when Albert Hartley asks her and Roy to help stage a concert. Liz finds a house for her and Vic to share. Simon D'Arcy arranges a photo shoot for Amanda. A mob of vigilantes has shot and pursued parolee Trevor Holmes into the bush. Police arrive and warn off the men who then organise retaliation after a local cemetery is vandalised. Meanwhile, the parolees working on the farm are prepared to turn in one of their own, guilty or not, to prove their good intentions to the locals. Vic eventually breaks the locals when he reveals the real reason behind the ringleader's opposition to the farm. After admitting his feelings for Claire and being rejected, Greg goes out drinking. He comes home drunk and reveals to Tony he has never been with a woman. Greg is later introduced to Valerie's designer friend Rex at a dinner party. After Greg leaves, Rex tells Valerie and Claire that Greg is gay. Amanda is irate after being stood up by Simon but still thinks he is Mr Right. Valerie and JJ agree to have a baby.©tzuk

Detectives suspect the broker himself or his rival. Roy books a return engagement on the quiz show and spends his time brushing up on British royalty. Amanda shares her news with Danni and Vic and reveals she will be resigning to join Simon in New York. Valerie thinks she might be pregnant and asks Claire to help her with a tarot card reading.
