Cop Shop: episode guide


This guide is a work in progress (2020) and covers the episodes of Cop Shop that have been released on DVD and is divided accordingly. 12 volumes, each containing 26 episodes, have been released to date. The images link to image galleries.

Glenn refuses to accept Jeff's resignation which he has tendered to get access to his pension so he can pay off his debts. While Pam tells Valerie she should be thrilled at the prospect of Jeff leaving the force, the boys at the station go out of their way make Jeff feel welcome. A child is abducted by her estranged father seeking access after losing custody. He's found and released without charge only to encounter a man eager to come up with the perfect crime to get rid of his own wife. Danni helps Father Carroll in rescuing a mate's teenage daughter who has gotten mixed up in prostitution.©tzuk

After his girlfriend works out child visitation with his ex-wife, Paul Rankin rushes to stop Robert Harris from carrying out his half of their double-murder plot. The police's off-target investigation is further complicated by a twist in aid of Rankin's perfect crime. Valerie volunteers to make Claire's wedding dress and recruits Pamela to help with the design. Claire asks Danni to be her bridesmaid and asks Tony if her father could live with them after they are married. Jeff is trying to line up a new job but is he prepared to be a truckie?©tzuk

Jeff contemplates going against regulations and doing some moonlighting to pay off his loan faster. As Claire wrestles with wedding preparations, her father begins learning how to cook. Eric and Tony are frustrated by Claire keeping them at a distance following their arguments. When she finally agrees to see them she announces she moving out of home. Pamela isn't happy about Glenn's refusal to intervene in Gayle's shoplifting case and goes behind his back to call upon the services of her father's high-priced solicitor to get the charges dropped — and an apology. Confounded by the result, Glenn uncovers the truth and is not pleased. The detectives investigate a daring payroll robbery that appears to be an inside job with an ex-con their prime suspect. Roy pesters his colleagues with his new breath analyser. Jeff begins looking for a second job but he's quickly caught out.©tzuk

Danni tackles a smaller financial matter, tracking down a widow's lost wallet, but it is the woman's drinking problem that attracts Father Carroll's counsel. Jeff refuses to entertain Valerie's offer to get a job and Pamela talks to Father Carroll about her and Glenn's marriage problems.©tzuk

A brazen armed robbery turns into a hostage situation when JJ enters the bank on his own in response to the alarm call. As the standoff ensues, the Riverside police try to meet the robbers demands while JJ does his best to defuse the situation inside the bank. Claire's botched wedding dress is the least of Valerie's concerns when she learns of JJ's plight.©tzuk

What should be a routine court case for Mike looks set to fall apart when the key witness is intimidated into keeping silent. As their wedding draws near Claire and Tony search for a suitable apartment. In the aftermath of the bank siege, Glenn and Pamela reunite. Valerie outsources Claire's wedding dress to a friend, Pamela thinks Father Joe is attracted to Danni, and a set of tools wreaks havoc at the station.©tzuk

The O'Reilly house plays host to a painting bee in lieu of a Bucks Night. As things wind down, Tony and Eric decide they and Claire should all live together in the house after the wedding. The body of a young woman washes up on the beach after she walked into the ocean the night before. With drugs found in her system and the people at her boarding house evasive, the detectives are sure there's something else afoot and send Danni in undercover.©tzuk

Glenn thinks Gayle has a crush on Tony and Pamela loans Valerie the money to pay for the work on Claire's dress.©tzuk

Valerie's work for the Gay Liberation movement sees her get caught up in a demonstration and dragged down to the police station. Out of hospital, Danni ponders her future, seeking out Father Joe who is also reflecting on their future. Tony and Claire return from their honeymoon.©tzuk

The detectives investigate a robbery at the Riverside hotel. The failure to report the crime by the receptionist who was help up at gunpoint raises their suspicions. Glenn cautions Pamela not to get her adoption hopes up in advance of her meeting with Social Welfare. When the bad news comes, it is because of Glenn's age — he's almost 40. Eric is put out by Angela's work with the CI branch taking her away from the duties he's assigned her. Roy wants to know why she's being given jobs he's used to doing. With her strike over, Valerie begins her search for a job, Danni waits to hear from Joe, and Eric is feeling like a third wheel.©tzuk

Roy is peeved by having to pick up Amanda's workload and not being offered the same job opportunities. JJ lands Valerie a job working as a waitress in a café.©tzuk

Riverside CI investigates after a young woman hitchhiking back from a dance is assaulted. When Glenn takes Danni off the case, she hands in her resignation letter seeking a new direction for her life. At Glenn's request, Father Joe talks her out of throwing her career away and Glenn puts her back on the case only for her to become the next victim. Danni and Amanda continue to clash and Father Joe is farewelled.©tzuk

A conman goes on the run when his web of lies unravels; Valerie's advice helps JJ track him down — the only man who can clear JJ in a murder. Mike takes his turn at trying to get to Amanda open up but the first cracks comes when she's recognised by a drunk who is brought into the station.©tzuk

The Taylors play host to a 12-year-old boy as part of a fostering trial. Amanda opens up to Mike about her past and the uniformed officers investigate a rash of car thefts.©tzuk

Riverside detectives search for Neil Hartwell after finding the unconscious body of his mother-in-law. The uniforms' stolen car case intersects with the Hartwell case and Benjamin, sympathic to Neil's plight, intervenes. Valerie quits her job in an attempt to escape the persistent David Lambert. Not knowing the reason she quit, JJ is just delighted she's no longer working. Glenn and Pamela find themselves at odds over her decision to cover for Jamie's stealing. Amanda agrees to be Mike's third wheel — and romantic interest — when he finds himself on another lunch date with Gayle. JJ surprises Valerie with a visitor — Lambert.©tzuk

Glenn's priority is to solve a pair of safecrackings but JJ goes against Glenn's orders to investigate a woman's disappearance. Valerie's stalker, David Lambert, is at the middle of the case and has told the woman's husband she ran off to Queensland make a fresh start but JJ makes other findings. Valerie is troubled by Lambert becoming JJ's new best friend but matters escalate when Lambert uses some doctored photos of Valerie to blackmail JJ into dropping the missing person case, also claiming they've been having an affair. Glenn rebukes Amanda for trying too hard, Roy takes a photographic memory course and Jamie's difficulties persist. Valerie confides in Claire who tells Tony, Eric, and Glenn. JJ disappears after Glenn suspends him from duty.©tzuk

Mike works to track down JJ who has gone after Lambert on his own. He catches up with him out in the bush where JJ has dragged Lambert... and a shovel.©tzuk

Jeff and Valerie's relationship is under strain from the fallout of the Lambert incident. Pamela receives word that Jamie has gone missing.©tzuk

Valerie expresses to Pamela her regrets about marrying JJ.©tzuk
