Her friends soon realise she has been enchanted by the Siren Song of the Northern Mermaid. If Mimmi and Ondina can't stop Sirena from singing the song to David, he will forget who he is and become obsessed with Sirena.©tzuk

The Trident Stone

A passing remark from Cam leads Erik on a quest to recover the remains of the broken trident. Zac wants no part of Erik's plan but accidentally activates the trident stone when he and the girls check on its safekeeping in Rita's grotto. Mimmi is affected by the trident stone leading Rita to the realisation that the chamber's purpose is to remove all powers from mermaids. Erik finds a seemingly eager partner in Cam who finally sees a chance to get the tail he's wanted. Zac entrusts the safekeeping of the trident stone to Cam unaware he is working the Zac but Cam has a change of heart and returns to stone to the girls. Betrayed by Cam, Erik searches for the stone and retrieves it from the grotto. Zac tries to stop him but is incapacitated by the stone and loses his powers to Erik who can now activate the chamber.©tzuk

The Chosen One

Ondina is persuaded to talk to Erik in hopes of getting him to rethink his plan to activate the merman chamber but he won't but dissuaded. Without his magic, Zac is helpless to stop Erik but still follows him to Mako Island. The pair fight for control of the trident stone but without his powers, Zac is no match for Erik who overpowers him and brings the chamber to life. The girls arrive to confront Zac but their magic, and that of the Moon Pool, is drained by the chamber. Seeing the mermaids collapsing, Zac recovers the stone, shutting down the chamber and reversing its effects. But at what cost? With the crisis averted, some relationships and broken while others grow stronger and the mermaid pod finally returns to Mako Island.©tzuk
