Zac Returns to Mako

However, while out collecting shells, Sirena has a close encounter with Zac who gets a glimpse of her tail, igniting his interest in the waters around Mako Island — a curiosity the girls worry could lead him to discover the entrance to the Mool Pool. Betrayal

With the arrival of the full moon, the girls must keep Zac from returning to Mako Island and getting the trident.

Evie calls it off with Zac after seeing him and Lyla together at the café and Cam's friendship is tested when he realises Zac has told the girls his secret.

Nixie, believing Zac should be allowed to obtain the trident so they can take it from him, puts her controversial plan into action and exposes Zac to moon light.

Compelled to return to Mako Island by the Moon Spell, Zac enters the portal to retrieve the trident. He is followed by the girls but when both Zac and Lyla grab the trident, everyone is thrown back out through the portal.

With the girls' deception revealed, Zac vows he will get the power he believes he was meant to have while the girls are determined to get the trident despite having lost Zac's trust.©tzuk

They go to extreme measures to keep her from winning the audition but Zac realises what they are up to and levels the playing field, not realising the bigger picture. Nixie isn't impressed with Rita's latest lesson, and Zac marks his and Evie's eight-month anniversary. ©tzuk

Moon Ring 2

While out for a swim, Zac finds a ring embedded in a rock on the ocean floor. He gives the ring to Evie but when Sirena sees it she recognises it as a Moon Ring. Discussing the situation with Lyla and Nixie, the girls quickly realise they must recover the ring lest there be unforeseen consequences should Evie wear it in the moonlight. Lyla convinces Zac of the ring's danger but he has no intention of giving it to the girls. Zac's parents host a lunch to announce a donation to the school's art program. The girls crash the party hoping for an opportunity to recover the ring but things quickly go awry.©tzuk
