Diarmid Heidenreich

Diarmid Heidenreich became an instant television identity after his TV commercial role as "Dougie" the friendly Pizza Hut delivery boy in 1994.

Diarmid's ambition to join the entertainment industry started when he was five years old. The energetic youngster began attending the Janice Breen Performance Studios, embarking on a training schedule in music and dance.

His acting credits include roles in the ABC mini-series Seven Deadly Sins, drama series GP and teenage soaps Home and Away and Echo Point.

Diarmid's singing ability landed him in the Victorian State Opera's production of Carmen, while he has also been a backing vocalist for Kate Ceberano.

He was a member of a swing group called Mo Better Boys and spent seven years in the Breen Machine show-group, performing at many special events including Sydney's Carols in the Domain.

Diarmid is an avid jet-skiier, bungee jumper, windsurfer, skydiver and swimmer and says: "Being part of Water Rats is very refreshing."
