Tatum deals with a case of criminally transmitted HIV, and discovers that the area is a legal and social minefield. She also discovers that internet access has been blocked for all those under suspicion of leaking the AG memo. That night, Tatum's father Danny is appalled when she tells him of the treatment of those under suspicion of leaking the file. It's not the way he'd do business.

Richard faces up again to the formidable Judge Walker, but things still don't go smoothly for him in court. This time, his witness refuses to co-operate at all, leaving Richard embarrassed.

Janet is back to work on a case of a woman smothering her two sons, and is forced to question the woman's mental state. The pressure is on Janet when she has to reveal to Erin that she is on IVF.

Erin is still overwhelmed by the Mervich case, when Janet asks if she'd like to join her on the filicide case. Concerned about the emotional toll the work is already taking on her, Erin turns it down. Janet warns her to think about her career, and gives it to Ben.

Out of the blue, Jimmy Butcher is beaten up. He reiterates that Erin was not the one who leaked the file to him, but is he just telling her what she wants to hear?
