After achieving their dreams, Dale reigns as 'King of News' and Helen's fearless reporting earns her acclaim. But when a cynical network move pits the former lovers against each other, their bond will be tested like never before.

In 1989, Helen and Dale are forced into direct competition as they fight to become number one in the shifting world of news. Helen has been given her very own current affairs program, and Dale has become the biggest name in news with a Gold Logie nomination.

Notes: The four actual nominess for the 1989 Gold Logie were Daryl Somers (Hey Hey It's Saturday), Jason Donovan, Craig McLachlan and Kylie Minogue (all for Neighbours). Daryl Somers won. In the episode, Craig McLachlan was replaced with Dale Jennings..
