Directed by Ana Kokkinos

Gina works towards Simon's hearing, building his defence. She quickly realises the enormous opportunity the case presents for her career as doors begin to open. However, while Gina puts in the long hours required, she wrestles with the strain this puts on her two daughters left in the hands of their begrudging nanny, as well as navigating their reactions to her tentative new relationship with Alex.

Gina faces obstacles with the case as Simon's parents threaten to terminate payment of his legal fees, and Simon himself remains evasive on the details of his relationship with Anna. Despite Alex's best intentions, his involvement in the case appears to be driven more by loyalty than logic, leaving Gina to sift through his lengthy theories. Meanwhile, the fallout of Alex's fumbling handling of his recent separation lands on Gina, who realises they may not quite be ready for a relationship.

New evidence continues to surface as the trial begins, and with volatile witnesses swinging the case in an out of their favour, Gina is unable to predict what will happen next.
