In the wake of the crash Eliza second guesses herself, while Pete and Wayne struggle to separate their personal grievances from the job at hand.

Eliza and Matty attend to Brian, a grazier with head injuries who has fallen off his horse. Eliza tries to uncover the reason for the fall, but her job is made even more difficult when the patient’s daughter questions her decision-making.

Pete returns to Broken Hill with a pregnant Taylor after she has had her kidney removed, desperate to know how best to support her. Pete and Wayne attend to a patient with painful complications following a surgery, where they struggle to separate their personal issues from the work at hand.

The bus driver from the highway crash is charged after returning a positive drug test result, and unexpected turbulence knocks Graham unconscious, leaving an airborne plane without a pilot.
