The missing Rothschild heiress, Irma Leopold, has been found, remarkably unharmed, but claiming to remember nothing.

As she recovers from her nine day ordeal at the Fitzhuberts’ summer mansion, she takes refuge in dreams of a future with her rescuer Michael, the handsome young nobleman she loved at first sight the afternoon of the fateful excursion.
