He tests the device by capturing the singing voice of a young opera singer and transferring it to a dog, immediately making it a public spectacle when it runs away -- it also alerts Centauri to Savage's activities. The Centauri members attempt to warn a famous opera singer of the danger Savage poses on his visit to Australia but their warning isn't heeded allowing Savage to kidnap the singer and his son along with Kat. Savage, with his accomplice Professor Roux, is behind the theft believing it will lead him to the legendary Treasure of the Phoenicians which for thousands of years has remained hidden in the African bush. With the aid of South African Centauri member Ben and Thandi, the daughter of the Ranger of the park where Savage is running amok while searching for the treasure, Spike launches a search for the criminals. Although his first attempt is thwarted by Mariko, the Centauri network's member in Japan, Savage is not easily defeated and he follows the pearl on its journey to Sydney hidden inside a bag of gum balls. Aided by a new antigravity devise, Savage is finally able to steal pearl but Kat and David team up with Savage's disillusioned scietist and his twin daughters to defeat Savage recover the pearl. His last hope is his latest scheme -- to rob the Bank of Sydney using an army of toy soldiers. Once again it is up to the kids of the Centauri network to stop Savage and finally bring him to justice.
