McLeod's stars heckled in Mall

SOON-TO-BE stars of McLeod's Daughters Edwina Ritchard and Martin Lynes must have been wishing they had stayed on the farm yesterday when they were heckled while filming in Rundle Mall.

The newcomers to the hit international Channel 9 drama series were shooting a scene in Rundle Mall late in the afternoon when they were heckled by a bearded man.

As Confidential's picture shows the man would not let up and had to be escorted from "set" by police officers.

Ever the professionals, Edwina and Martin took the interruption in their strides recognising it as just one of the trappings of fame.

The hiccup in production is ironic seeing as the McLeod's gang is working on storylines depicting the "big bad city" using Adelaide as a backdrop.

Earlier this week, Matthew Passmore, who plays Marcus Turner, revealed the script was all about coming to the city "to change someone's mind" in order to save both farms.

While it will be some time before we see Edwina and Martin lighting up the small screen on McLeod's, no doubt you recognise Marty from All Saints doc Luke Forlano.

And for the record, the gentleman who disrupted the shoot received a police escort home.
