Baby, it's so good to be back

HER on-screen love Myles Pollard may have departed but Bridie Carter is making her McLeod's Daughters comeback. She has just returned to the Gawler/Freeling set after three months off for the birth of her son, Otis. Motherhood, it seems, is agreeing with the actress. "He's perfect. I'm in love," she gushes of her baby boy. Bridie had a big night at last week's Logies.

Not only was she making her first public appearance since the birth but it also was the first night away from her son. She had a phone at hand just in case.
