Marshall Law: articles

Bad start to new series

SEVEN has big hopes for its latest drama series Marshall Law, but trouble is afoot.

Marshall Law revolves around two Marshall sisters - one a magistrate and the other a lawyer.

A pilot for the show, which will be hyped as Lisa McCune's return to the small screen, was canned after former SeaChange star Kerry Armstrong pulled out as magistrate.

Seven national programming director Chris O'Mara said she was not right for the part and refused to play the role differently.

SeaChange's William McInnes will take over the role of Armstrong's husband after a second re-cast. McInnes is appearing at the free What's On Short Cut Film Fest at Powerhouse, New Farm at 7pm today.
