A Visit From Grandma
Tom's grandmother visits from the city and causes one disaster after another creating tension within the family. A newly hired hand steals the farm cash box and tries to escape, Grandma gives chase on a horse and with the aid of the magic boomerang captures the villain and restores peace.

A Matter Of Survival
The young hero appears to have been kidnapped in a plane by a villain. After the plane lands he uses his magic boomerang to help foil and capture him.
A mother with a very sick baby which is in need of a doctor, get’s bogged in a storm. They walk to the nearest farm (which belongs to the hero and his family). The phone is out so Tom rides to town for the Doctor. There is a criminal on the loose who has been shot. He kidnaps the doctor to treat him, when Tom turns up he tells him that the doctor is out of town and Tom leaves. The criminal ties up the Doctor (which is witnessed by Tom who then uses his magic boomerang to stop time so he can cut the doctors ropes) and steals his car. Tom hides in the car and leaves his horse for the Doctor. The Doctor rides to the farm to treat the baby. Tom’s mum rides to fetch the police. The criminal stops for fuel, then Tom takes the keys from the car and delays the criminal long enough for the police to arrive.
The Thief Who Believed In Magic
A visitor to the farm is fascinated with fires. He has a bucket of water thrown over him as a joke and the magic boomerang is used to place the bucket over his head. He rides off and leaves the gate open so the cows can get out. The magic boomerang is used so the gate can be closed in time to stop them getting out. The man starts a fire. The boys manage to tie him up in the fire tower, with the help of the magic boomerang, and report the fire. The fire starter gets caught in the fire and is rescued. Shows fire fighting with back packs and a fire truck.
North To Warralinga Station
Tom Thumbleton is going to see and take some important documents to a friend who lives on a cattle property in North Queensland—out from Cairns. He is befriended by the villain at Sydney airport, the villain then takes an opportunity to swap papers while the on the plane. The boy is picked up by an adult friend at the airport, and then they fly to Warralinga station. They discover that they do not have the correct papers and so they return to Cairns to search for the villain. Tom finds him and uses his magic boomerang (which stops time when thrown) to get the papers back.
The Big Catch
Two friends set out on a fishing trip, Tom from the farm and his friend Pip who lives on the island. They are taken out with Pip’s father’s friend Duffy, who slowly and unwittingly reveals that he has ripped off Pip’s father and is planning to escape with the loot on this trip.Tom and Pip eventually foil his plans and save the loot from those evil hands of careless robbers.

Some cattle duffers are foiled by the use of the magic boomerang.
The Saucer From Venus
A family disguises a machine as a flying saucer in an attempt to save their failing circus.
The Masked Man From Manangatang
A champion woodchopper is involved in a hit and run with the villain. He is taken in by Tom Thumbleton’s parents to heal, and then they help him train for the next competition. So he is not discovered by the villains the axeman wears a mask, Tom uses his magic boomerang to help foil the villains plots.
