The Souffle Rises

Episode 1.01
May 9, 1994

To combat his reputation of being a lightweight and the "nice guy of current affairs television", Mike decides to go on the offensive and attacks the policies of the Opposition on air before trying his hand at editorialising. His comments spark a wave of public outrage and even death threats over suggestions that he is anti-Greek. Meanwhile, Marty interviews a child prodigy and Brooke meets a living legend.

At the same time, a rival network tries to poach Mike, and Brooke interviews Pat Cash for her celebrity profile series. Only Brian seems to have his mind on the main game: getting the 'Desert Angel'.
