Daniel Blake returns to Echo Point after a long and bitter absence. Gordon tells his daughter that he has been seeing Holly. Edwina thinks it is too soon after her mother's death and is upset to learn Holly will be moving in. Zac returns home unaware his girlfriend Edwina has been seeing his best mate Dean while he's been away.

Neville's homecoming sours with Trish's discovery of his latest infidelity. Trish asks her brother, Hopper, to stay while she makes plans to get a divorce. After threatening to leave home, Edwina sneaks out to avoid having diner with her father and Holly. Meeting up with Zac and Dean, the trio steal a car from Daniel Blake and go for a joyride.

Episode 3

Tempers flare as Zac, Dean and Edwina's joyride comes to an abrupt end following Zac learning that Dean and Edwina have been seeing one another. After the accident, the boy are taken to the police station while Edwina collapses and is sent to hospital where she meets her father's girlfriend, Holly, for the first time. Dean is released but Zac faces stiffer consequences after admitting to stealing the car. After speaking with Edwina, Holly tells Gordon she wants to put off moving in. Neville pulls out all the stops to reconcile with Trish.

Episode 4

Coral panics when she discovers Daniel Blake is back in Echo Point while rumours are spreading about Daniel killing his parents 15 years ago. With Zac facing court and a possible jail sentence, Sgt. Murray advises him to get a job. When Zac dumps Edwina, she asks Dean to set the record straight with Zac. Zac catches up with Dean and slugs him for letting him cop the blame for the stolen car. Frannie gathers evidence against Maurie for illegally dumping his rubbish.

Episode 5

Trish's trust in Neville is tested as he leaves on another business trip. When Maurie dismisses Frannie's incriminating photos, she makes a show of returning his rubbish to the café where she again embarrasses herself infront of Dave. Daniel begins looking into the inquest into his parent's deaths and publicly confronts Neville about his behaviour towards him in the past. Coral refuses to address her reaction to Daniel's return.

Episode 6

Holly decides to move into an already tense Amadio house. With Zac's search for work coming up empty, Darcy calls in an old debt with Gordon to give him a job. Belinda teases her mother about having a secret admirer, neither aware it was Daniel who left her a rose. Darcy advises Zac to give Edwina a second chance. Daniel informs Gordon he'll be taking over his garden centre.

Edwina does her best to make Holly feel unwelcome after Gordon moves her in unannounced. Frannie tries to avoid Dave. Darcy is injured when he falls after a night drinking. Zac takes his father to the hospital and is late for his first day at work. When Zac gets no sympathy from Gordon he quits on the spot.

Episode 8

Hopper has big plans for injecting new life into The Shed café. Daniel encourages him to invest in the business but the bank rejects him for a loan. Holly's terminally ill sister, Jenny, and her family come in from the country when she is re-admitted to hospital. Neville returns from his business trip bearing gifts. At Dean's suggestion, Zac asks Daniel if would be willing to drop the charges for stealing his car. He wouldn't. Feeling he can't get a fair go in Echo Point, Zac packs his things and leaves town.

Episode 9

Tension between Gordon and Edwina peaks as Holly deals with the anguish of her sister's imminent death. Despite her cancer returning, Jenny opts to forgo chemotherapy and asks Holly to let her die when the time comes. Daniel steps up the pressure on Gordon's business which he thinks is payback for giving evidence against him 15 years prior. Edwina upset with her father for not giving Zac a second chance. Hopper accepts a confidential $40,000 business loan from Daniel to grow the Shed. Darcy tries to find Zac.

Episode 10

Holly's brother-in-law John leaves his ill wife and kids to return to the farm. Daniel delights in the idea of Neville learning he was the one who loaned Hopper the money for the Shed. He also includes a clause requiring a single rose be kept on the counter in memory of his parents. In response to Hopper's new business initiatives, Coral ups the game at the bakery. After seeing Frannie getting out of Dave's car, Neville tells her to stay away from him.

Episode 11

Marty's pain at seeing his mother's worsening condition keeps him away from her. Coral expands the bakery's hour to compete with the Shed and hires Belinda, Frannie and Edwina to hand out fliers. When Dean finds out, he launches a competing ad campaign for the Shed. After a taste of life on the road, Zac makes the decision to go home. Coral knocks back Hopper when he asks her out.

Episode 12

Dean delights in the bakery's struggles but Hopper, despite being Coral's competitor, offers her his support. After hearing from Holly about Zac having to take Darcy to the hospital, Gordon reaches out to Zac and offers him his job back at the garen centre. Holly's sister Jenny dies in hospital.

Episode 13

Neville does his best to get his way in how to spend Hopper's money, with an eye on a new boat for himself. Daniel enjoys watching the dispute playout. Following their mother's passing, Shelley and Marty are welcomed into the Amadio home bringing back difficult memories for Edwina about the lose of her own mother. Coral agrees to go out with Hopper much to her daughter Belinda's delight.

Episode 14

Trish works out where Hopper got the money from and warns him that Neville must never know Daniel Blake is his anonymous benefactor. Frannie gets jealous when she sees Dave with another woman. Dave's girlfriend wants him to make a commitment to their relationship but when he hesitates, she breaks up with him. Belinda helps her mother prepare for her date. Hopper's late to pick her up and things go downhill from there.

Episode 15

As tension peaks following Jenny's funeral, Gordon agrees to let Marty and Shelley stay in Echo Point with Holly and Gordon. Zac has his second first day working at the garden centre. Daniel, the garden centre's major shareholder, doesn't want to employ the person who stole his car and tells Gordon to fire Zac. Frannie sees her father with another woman.

Episode 16

Gordon breaks the news to Edwina that Shelley and Marty are moving in and she will have to share her bedroom with one of the 'gremlins". To show her displeasure, Edwina unveils a new gothic look which her father dutifully objects to. Frannie is is shattered by the discovery of her father's infidelity but she doesn't tell anyone what is upsetting her but reassures Dave it's nothing he's done. Daniel forces Gordon to fire Zac.

Episode 17

Shelley loses it with Edwina and their relationship finds new ground. Zac admits to his father he's been fired just days before his court case. Zac brings Daniel's dog home after it is killed by a hit-and-run driver outside the Shed. Neville assumes Dave is to blame for Frannie's sullen behaviour and tells him to stay away from his daughter. Darcy skips out on a new job to support his son in court. Zac's friends throw him a small party anticipating a good result in court.

Episode 18

Things aren't looking good for Zac in court until Daniel speaks up for Zac resulting in the judge being lenient and releasing Zac on a two year good behaviour bond. Afterwards, Daniel explains he did it because he admires the courage Zac showed in returning his dog. He also gives Zac his job back at the garden centre. Daniel and Lisa bond over lost pets after he finds in his yard. Dean then teases her with stories of Daniel coming to get her and her mother forbids her from talking to Daniel. Hopper and Coral decide to set aside their disastrous first date and try again — without telling anyone this time.

Episode 19

Holly and Shelley face their first day at the hospital since Jenny died. Shelley is doing work experience, eyeing a career in nursing, but runs afoul of one of the doctors. Hopper and Coral go on their secret date.

Episode 20

Frannie overturns her desk and runs out of class in tears after learning her new chemistry teacher is the woman she saw going into a hotel with her father. Dave and Zac hustle pool in order to finance plans for a new business after convincing Neville to let them take over as the garden centre's delivery drivers. Frannie tells Dave her issue is not with him and confides is Edwina. Marty begins going to school in Echo Point.

Episode 21

As Marty and Shelley deal with their grief, Holly's anger towards Edwina has reached breaking point. Frannie's parents meet with her school principal to discuss her recent behaviour. Everything snaps into place for Trish when they are introduced to Frannie's new teacher who's name Neville already knows. Learning Nevill has a family, Karen calls things off. When Neville returns home, flowers in hand, he finds his packed bags waiting for him. Zac calls upon the talents of Edwina to recover his and Dean's lost money.

Episode 22

Trish is distressed about her decision as Karen meets with Frannie to explain she knew nothing about her family. Holly is furious with Edwina for ruining her new blouse. Edwina's father gives her a curfew in response to Holly implying his parenting has been lax furthering the divide. Trish tells Dean she and her father are having "a few problems" but she doesn't tell him about Neville's cheating. Marty runs off after he is caught skipping school with Dean.

Episode 23

Hopper and Coral's romance is nipped in the bud when an old girlfriend arrives. Belinda joins the school's photography club. Dave and Zac begin making deliveries for the garden centre but after taking a dip in a client's pool, they discovery they're at the wrong address. Marty has decided not to return to school. Shelley and Marty receive a care package from their father that may help change his mind.

Episode 24

Rachel tells a shocked Hopper that she's pregnant and he decides he'll stand by her. Dave and Zac race to correct their delivery mistake but get delayed by a demanding client. When they finally get back to the garden centre, Gordon reassigns them off deliveries. When the client sings their praises, Gordon gives the boys another chance. After receiving the last of his parents' papers from his lawyer, Daniel uncovers a connection between Gordon and his mother.

Daniel confronts Gordon about the letter to his mother. Gordon denies they were having an affair, insisting they were only friends, but refuses to offer any more details. Frannie tells her mother about meeting with Karen, passing along her apology. Rachel and Hopper make plans for her to move in. Coral calls things off with Hopper after seeing the two together. Trish breaks the news to Lisa that her father will not be coming home anytime soon. Frannie agrees to go out with Dave to distract herself. Neville is desperate to reconcile with Trish but while driving over to the house he crashes his car.

Episode 26

Shelley helps a young girl through the birth of her baby. Holly contacts Trish from the hospital to inform her Neville is in surgery after his car accident. Trish and Dean rush to hospital but Frannie refuses to go see him. Zac and Edwina can't get any privacy.
