Esme's Sticky Chocolate Pudding

1/2 cup castor sugar
100g butter
2 tsps cocoa
3/4 cup S.R. flour
2 eggs beaten
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsps milk

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Fold in sifted dry ingredients and add milk until mixture is soft. Spoon into greased baking dish.

Sauce: Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tspn cocoa and stir.

Pour sauce over pudding and bake 40 minutes in a 180°C oven.
